Axicom’s scope of EME assessments includes conducting desktop assessments of exclusion zones which assist network operators and companies involved in compliance assessment process to establish and maintain EME compliance at base station sites. Site specific information such as FC drawings / redline mark-ups, site survey reports, updated antenna configuration in RFNSA and site photos are used to model exclusion zones of a base station.
The process of making a site EME complaint includes:
- Model EME exclusion zones and calculate percentage EME levels
- Identify non-compliant areas on site
- Recommend control measures to mitigate identified EME issues
- Record and document agreed control measures

Axicom NATA Accreditation
Axicom is a NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) accredited inspection body for the measurement of RF EME fields complying with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO/IEC 17020 Standard (Accreditation Number: 20405).
The NATA is the national accreditation body for Australia. NATA accreditation provides an assurance of the competence, impartiality and integrity of an organisation to perform the activities for which it is accredited.
